About The AAF

The Alex Archie Foundation was started in 2007 to help student-athletes achieve their dreams through lacrosse and life. Alex Archie was an outstanding student athlete with dreams of playing lacrosse in college. Alex was recruited and accepted at several D1 schools before his death on December 10, 2007.

The AAF was established as a 501c3 non-profit to provide scholarships to male and female high school players, sponsor youth players for summer camps, provide equipment and support to starting/struggling youth and high school programs dedicated to helping their players stay in school and fulfill their dreams - on and off the field.  The AAF has expanded its mission to include a commitment to expand the discussion in all of our communities about mental health awareness and suicide prevention.  The AAf works has sponsored speakers from Active Minds (activeminds.org) to work with multiple high schools, parent groups and universities to spread the word on mental health and suicide prevention. Since 2007 the AAF has provided over $60,000 in scholarships, equipment donations and speaking engagements. Please contact the AAF if you are interested in working with the AAF  in your community.

The AAF is driven by donations and merchandise sales and all donations go towards scholarships and donations.  For more information please write to AlexArchieFoundation@gmail.com.
